>Utopia

>Just think about it.
Wouldn’t it be just plain peachy to live in a country where..

The guy in the bus and the guy in the merc are treated the same.

You aren’t assessed by the size of your house.

Your sexual orientation isn’t something hidden in your closet. (Ok, so he’s gay. Deal with it.)

Your gender is inconsequential.

Prejudice, racism, sexism, bigotry are unheard of words you need to look up in the dictionary.

Your life isn’t dictated according to what people expect of you.

Materialistic possessions are of no importance whatsoever.

Your religion is merely a philosophy. A way of life.

You’re not judged by the height you’ve risen, but the depth you’ve climbed.

Caste? What’s that?

Politicians are truthful and wouldn’t dream of lining their pockets. (Ok. Time to stop now.)

Disclaimer: the responsibility of this post is split in 3 ways.

1. Nangi, I like strawberries and I like salad. What I do not like is strawberries in my salad. I am holding you solely responsible for this bizarre mood of mine.
2. A certain nun who triggered a stream of thought.
3. John Lennon for singing ‘Imagine’

Ps: ‘Plain peachy’? Wtf was I thinking? When have I ever used plain peachy. Ever.

  3. >the_jester – Oh god, do I really? I sincerely hope not!capainm – Thats exactly why it’s called Utopia. It’s perfect but unreal. I know it’s unattainable, but theres no harm in indulging in a bit of wishful thinking right? :)

  5. >My sister has extremely weird ideas sometimes! It was such a waste of good strawberries. I like Perfect Circle. Their cover of imagine is good, and yes, thought provoking but rather eerie. James Keenan should have a few inflections in his voice, it would be perfect then.
